Non-live baits that can be used for trout fishing include:
- Powerbait - manufactured by Berkley
- Dough Balls
- Yellow Corn Kernels
- Salmon Eggs
As mentioned on the Live Bait page, use a sinker to weight the bait down. One of the draw backs to the Powerbait and Dough Balls is that each tends to wear off the hook quickly. So it will be necessary to replace the bait frequently.
